Do they have english dictionaries where you are? You see, I'm a
native english speaker, and have quite a good grasp of my native
language. You, on the other hand, aren't a native english speaker.
This is quite apparent from reading your postings.
I cannot say if you're a native English /speaker/, but for a native in
this tongue your writing skills seem rusty. . .
This group is not free consulting and tutoring service. Nobody is
obliged to provide any information on request, especially if this
request is arrogant.
Are you attempting to make some kind of relevant point with the above
paragraph? If so, I fail to grasp what it is.
Yes, and in order to grasp the point you've to interpret the text, which
is clear.
As I said, English is not my native language. However, what is the
problem?
Once I was working in some international research institute in Vienna,
Austria (not Australia :). This institute was a conglomerate of 16
nations. Official language was English
I had to write some official and important document. My boss
(American) said: "OK, content is fine, but we have to correct the
language". He made corrections with blue pen. Then I brought the
document to super-boss. Reaction was the same: let us correct language
a bit. With red. Then I brought this document to professional editor
-woman with two degrees from Harvard. She browsed the document and her
reaction was: "what the idiots made these red and blue marks?"
This doesn't mean that ALL these marks were wrong, and all my writing
was right, but since this time my notion of "good and absolute
English" somehow changed :)
Anyway, I am now working with fresh college graduates, all born
Americans, after American schools. Majority has problems with writing
half a page document about the work they are doing
And to pineapple: commenting somebody's language is super-moronic. I
am glad that you sit in my KF.
