Well, I am not a developer of the project, just a big fan :)
but I think that is the goal.
It will take time and TIPs will need to be submitted, but the guys
working on it are top notch and a Tk facelift is needed so much, that
everybody will do it best to make it happen for 8.5
Already there is some stuff in 8.5 that allow you to create better
looking Tk apps on Unix : antialiasing and new
checkbuttons/radiobuttons
