Ugh. This is more acutely depressing than our lack of
progress on stdlib or TkGS/NextGen/megawidget/OOtip/...;
LDAP ought to be *easy*.

I know LDAP. I have no free time. I have no current
LDAP projects. How many other consumers and producers
are there?
