Hi all,
I am trying to install Tkabber (0.96beta) onmy WIn98 notebook.
I downloaded the latest ActiveTCL (8.4.6.1) and ran the installer,
which installed everything I need in c:/TCL.
so far so good.
Then I downloaded Tkabberer-0.9.6beta and unzipped the
archive in C:\Program Files\Tkabber
When I double click tkabber.tcl, a window pops up complaining:
Error in Startup script
-----------------------
couldn't read file ¨C:/Program/Files/Tkabber/hooks.tcl¨: no such file
or directory
while executing
¨source C:/Program/Files/Tkabber/hooks.tcl¨
(¨uplevel¨ bosy line 1)
invoked from within
¨uplevel #0 source $fullpath¨
(procedure ¨load_source¨ line 5)
invoked from within
¨load_source hooks.tcl¨
(file ¨C:\Program Files\Tkabber\tkabber.tcl¨ line 76)
[OK]
Obviously something is not kosher with the translation of filenames
and separators... But I cannot find any mention whether this is
fixable in some configuration file or other.
Any hints anyone?
thans
