Hello,
I'm new about Tcl/Tk , Visual Tcl and visual approach to programs.
I can make programs in FORTRAN, Turbo Pascal and QBasic, and looking
around I have decided to learn Tcl/Tk to make some windows interface
to my command line programs.
As I'm completely new to the visual approach, is there a good general
tutorial, book or something else?
It seems to me that the Visual Tcl help is quite obscure for a
beginner and probably it is good for people that know Visual Basic or
something similar.
Is it true that with a Tcl/Tk script and a special executable program
(it is in Sourceforge, but I don't remember) I don't need any extra
library to port my program in other PC?
Thank you very much
Filippo B.
