OK - I got it to work with the "[string bytelength $teststring]"
instead of the "[string length $teststring]"
BUT -- as I extended the string's length - it came into a end-of-file
exception for anything past this:
set teststring "Sample String: ÔÕååçåòãÁÁå was some
impressive text - and this is another test -=- wow this is yet another
test how "
This is wierd - surely there is not a limit on the amount of data we
can send in a utf-8 block - is there?
