Hi,
I wanted to use the tclcompiler and tbcload packages from tclpro - i know tclpro is no longer being maintained - but i was wondering if someone is maintaining those 2 packages independently.
The reason why i am asking this is because recent changes to Tcl8.5 (removal of some object types) make the package throw some errors while loading the package (package require tclcompiler/tbcload) without adapting the code to the recent changes.
So.. question is.. will tclcompiler/tbcload be updated to allow using the packages from Tcl8.5?
As tbcload and tclcompiler are nowadays supported as part of ActiveStates commercial TDK I doubt the tclcompiler will see the updates, but probably the tbcload will..., at least i do not know anybody working on the tclpro project besides Andreas Kupries from ActiveState..., and as they have commercial interest in the compiler...go figure
