debian-apache-rivet installation problem

Hi there!

I just installed apache 1.3.xx, php5 and rivet 0.4 (shared) on my
debian machine. I also updated the httpd.conf accordingly.
I installed a TCL plugin for Firefox as well.

Everything went fine but the actual running.

When I try to run a .rvt or .tcl file from webserver the Firefox
browser prompts me with a dialog window - it's like it doesn't know its
mime-type (although I added in httpd.conf the addtype lines, as told in
the installation guide).

Does anybody have any idea why is this not working ?

Many thanks in advance.

.
