Hi Helmut,
PSPad definitely does support Tcl syntax highlighting - though I've used it
for so long (several years), I don't remember what (if anything) I had to
do to set it up. I don't think you need to download a syntax file.
Look at the following:
Settings | Highlighter Settings... |
On the left, make sure Tcl/Tk is checked. Now, select it (on the let) and
then click the "Specifications" tab on the right. Does the "File Masks"
pane contain "*.tcl" (and any other file types you want to be recognized as
Tcl)?
While there, you can also set up "external applications" (I have both tclsh
and wish defined) so I can run the current file from within the editor.
Also, you can change the highlighter "manually", by using "View | Change
Syntax..." and then selecting "Tcl/Tk" (though you shouldn't have to do
this).
Anyway, take a look at the above and report back.
