I wonder, why it is now needed, when it wasn't needed in
previous releases, and Tk also doesn't appear to newly
need it.
With the natural aim for tclkits to have them runnable
on as many as possible systems, it may be favourable
to statically link the ~6k library. (if possible, or
just not use it ...)

On debian sarge, it appears to be an issue, and based on
the release cycles of debian, it might be for quite some
time to come.
