A feature. The text widget tab behavior was modified to work like tabs
in a text editor, which is virtually impossible to do in 8.4.

As someone who writes editors, I only use 8.5 for this reason. It would
be nice if the behavior
was selectable through an option, but I havent seen much concern raised
on this topic.
