Thanks for the response. Basically, I want to be able to have this listener running as the rest of my script is running. It's going to
collect log messages from multiple nodes. So the flow of my script is
going to be:
start socket listener
run scripts that will send messages to socket listener from multiple
machines
end socket listener
In this case, calling vwait at the end of the script won't work.

background process/command in a script ... otherwise the listener just hangs. ... My issue is that I have to put this in as the startup script for a VCS ...echo "Starting MQ Listener for $on port ... (SunManagers)
