invoking wish remotely

I am running tclhttpd on a remote machine and want to be able to start it up
remotely. I need to run it within wish because the server uses [image]
commands. I get an error on the package require Tk:

no display name and no $DISPLAY environment variable.

How do I get this to work ? - run wish under ssh - or is there some other
way?
