tk ability

Dear tcl users

I just read some pages on tcl main page and wounder if it is an effective
approach to do what I am after.
I have data files, as well as data feed, with data which are dynamically
changing, I need to build a charting GUI which I can select any/all of the
files from say a list box and be able to see the chart/s laying on the top
of each other with auto scale and other fancies like side scroll, zoom,
selections, synchronized cursor hair and the like...
