Re: tclxml package loading problems

Hi Andrew,

The UNSPECIFIED directory is nothing to do with the package mechanism.
My guess is that it is something that the installation process has
errorenously introduced.

When only the pure-Tcl package has been installed, the pkgIndex.tcl
file attempts to load the C implementation, which will fail, and then
proceeds to load the Tcl version. You are probably seeing the effect
of that initial load attempt. Does the package still work after seeing
those messages, or does the process quit?

You may wish to raise a bug report on SourceForge for this. Please
include your pkgIndex.tcl file in the bug report, so I can see exactly
what got installed.

Cheers,
Steve
