Using TCL/TK, how do I make a top level window sticky?
Set the appropriate thing with [wm attributes].
On the target system TK 8.4.7 is installed, and this version does not
support wm attributes when run under X.
The only problem is this: the attributes supported are platform-specific.
No problem: The taget platform is clearly specified.
Hmm, I don't know if we ever got around to supporting the EWMH hints in
the Unix [wm attributes] or if it was a task that slipped. If not,
please file a FRQ since adding the support should be fairly easy. :-)
Could someone be so kind and check this. It should be quite simple: The
command
[wm attributes .]
returns a list of all supported attributes - just post the output here.
If this version supports stickyness, then we may decide to install a newer
version of TK on the target system, in parallel to the version already
installed.
