Hi,
Licences are always written using quiet hard to understeand language
(even it's english), so I wan't to ask a very simple question and I
would appreciate such a simple answer.
If my Tcl application uses Tile extension (or any other included in
free AS ActiveTcl), then can I distribute SDX-wrapped application with
that extension included in my starkit? Would it be ok?
...and if it's ok, then what licence should I apply to the starpack?
Excerpt of the Licence terms (can be found inside the AS distribution):
....
The authors hereby grant permission to use, copy, modify,
distribute, and license this software and its documentation for
any purpose, provided that existing copyright notices are
retained in all copies and that this notice is included verbatim
in any distributions. No written agreement, license, or royalty
fee is required for any of the authorized uses. Modifications
to this software may be copyrighted by their authors and need
not follow the licensing terms described here, provided that the
new terms are clearly indicated on the first page of each file
where they apply.
....
That's all what needs to be said, I think.
Also, it is not written in an hard to understand language in my
opinion...
