Hello, I always go back to the old dead tree documentation versus using
documents viewed on the wiki, or the tcl/tk man pages.

I am wondering if there are plans to release a Tcl/Tk book based on 8.5
(or even an updated welch book) near the time 8.5 is released?

Actually, John Ousterhout's classic Tcl and the Tk Toolkit book is being
updated for 8.5 by a cadre of well known Tcl'ers (Ken Jones, Donal
Fellows, Brian Griffin, et al).

I don't have the old one. Why update that one versus the Welch book? I
have the Welch book (and while it could use a re-org and updating) I
have found it to be very good.
