Expect 5.43 on Windows XP - spawn crashes tcsh.
I just copied the subject from the posting in activestate
http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Mail/Message/expect/3117206
I followed the instructions in the posting and my problem gets
resolved.
But according to the posting I need to install "dbghelp.dll" from
Microsoft and do some changes in boot.ini file.
The problem that we are facing is that we need to tell our customers to
follow the instructions. Since our customers are not technical and it
is a nightmare to explain to them as how these will help and why they
need to modify the boot.ini file.
So my question is "dose anyone know if there is any specific patch
from Microsoft would address the issue?"
If yes, we can re-direct our customers to just install a patch from
Microsoft.
Thanks,
Ming
