Can somebody who is a member of that group summarise what the situation
is? Are we likely to see an editable wiki back up and running soon?
The situation is that at least one person is working hard to bring up
a wiki that will be a bit more protected than the last version. The
person putting in the most time on the project reported today that he
has the wiki partially up and running, but one of the issues, during
that work, is that a number of wiki pages had "invalid unicode
characters". The new environment is using a different database for
storing the wiki information, and it is balking when encountering the
invalid characters.
Currently it appears the plan is to get a version of the wiki up in a
somewhat different infrastructure - the wiki will appear to the user
to be the same, but have some changes behind the scenes to better
handling stressful situations.
Intriguing.
