The most recent changes on the wiki are dated March 17th. It is hard
to believe that no one has changed anything since then. Is something
wrong?

Yes: around that time the machine hosting the Wiki was brought
to its knees by some vicious spidering. JCW posted a report
on the events as he had to restore a backup of the Wiki after
this crash. It is in read-only mode now to prevent this from
happening again.

Several people have been working very hard since then to
- restore as much as possible
- take measures against such intrusions without forcing
a more restrictive access (acquiring an account, logging
in etc.)
- take the opportunity to revamp the Wiki
