How are you going to argue that ? Either it does, or it doesn't.
It's not that easy, because the fans of $editor1 may claim that
$editor1 does support syntax-coloring, and then fans of $editor2
may come up and say: "What? They say $editor1 can do it? Laughable!
$editor1 doesn't do more than bare keyword-highlighting. Completely
incapable of doing a proper job for $language..." immediately
followed by rebuttal of $editor1-fans that what their editor does
fully satisfies their needs ...
This doesn't mean that it was a bad idea. It could work.
I just wanted to say, that it is not all that objective :-)
