you should try ssh -Y instead of ssh -X. There are problems in
authentification of X over SSH, which are bypassed by ssh -Y

It runs with -Y. This attribute seems to be in cygwin-ssh only.
Under Linux I find not -Y (man ssh). Danke Dir.
