Anyone know if there's a Vista theme in the works for Ttk?
Theme xpnative looks pretty good but there are still quite a few
differences.
What differences do you note?
xptheme uses the "Visual Styles" WIN32 API, which --
as I understand it -- is unchanged from XP to Vista.
But I have only seen Vista machines at a safe distance,
so don't know all the details.

Yes, the API is the same. However, due to a bug in identifying the OS
(which has been resolved ages ago), this API (the xpnative theme) is not
used at all under vista in all ActiveTcl 8.4.* distributions (where
winnative is used instead).
In order to get this bug fix, you have to use ActiveTcl 8.5.
I never understood why just a so simple fix was not included in 8.4
distributions and confuses so many users :-(
Are you sure that the bug is still in the latest tile 0.8.2 that ships
with ActiveTcl 8.4.17? I don't have Vista (and avoid it whenever
possible), so I can't check right now.
