Problem on frame widget

Hi,
I am a beginner in tcl/tk language and i am programming a script to
practise my learning.
I know the primary purpose of the frame widget is to act as a spacer
or container for complex window layouts. But if i want to open a new
window/widget from the parent one( like "blank" in HTML), which
command(s) or attributes should be fit?
