OK. It looks like with enough manual screwing around, I have recovered the ability to process "lite" Tcl documentation without having to reinstall different generations of Tcl. It still seems like something that probably ought to be fixed some time, in the sense that somebody with the stuff already set up conveniently might be able to put together a current dtp.kit and host it on the wiki or teapot.
