OK. It looks like with enough manual screwing around, I have recovered
the ability to process "lite" Tcl documentation without having to
reinstall different generations of Tcl. It still seems like something
that probably ought to be fixed some time, in the sense that somebody
with the stuff already set up conveniently might be able to put together
a current dtp.kit and host it on the wiki or teapot.

There's no need to uninstall anything, as Larry has shown. dtp is
distributed with 8.4 but not with 8.5, not because of any compatibility
problems, but because the new distribution mechanism for 8.5 has not yet
caught up with the "give them everything in one download" approach of 8.4.
