I believe that is how TkHTML works as well? Then Hv3 provides the
networking
functionality, so if someone could get a TkWebKit going then maybe code
from Hv3 could
be borrowed to provide the necessary additional networking functionality
to build a full
Tk browser extension?http://tkhtml.tcl.tk/hv3.html
So if tkGecko is dead.. and mozilla activex API is fairly dead (at
least I cant get it load my ff3 instance).. and enticeTK by steve
landers is still nonexistent.. cant somebody publish a way to embed a
freaken firefox window or something into TK??
Ive been stuck with IE optcl activex controls forever.. I am totally
sick of not being able to use ff plugins within my TK app.. sniffle
cry...
Most importantly I need multiple proxies based on url simultaneously..
(FF plugin foxyproxy) IE still has no idea how to do this..
If there is some other way of doing this some please tell me!
optcl http://wiki.tcl.tk/1822
I dont if tkHTML using hv3 is a semi-ready to use browser.. hv3 polipo
webcache proxy has parent socks proxy.. if hv3 is embeddable it might
work... but I cant find too much on this.. The hv3 isn't directly
embeddable making "easy integration into a tk frame questionable.."
I need some help.. If someone has better ideas like this webkit stuff
or something else..
.
