I am using Solaris 64bit and I am trying to use hammerora to create
some load for testing databases.
I installed TCL 8.5.0 and Oratcl4.4 both as 64bit. When I try to use
hammerora though, it looks for the "wish" executable that does not
come with the source I used (not from Active as they do not have 64bit
for free). Could anybody point me to how I can get the source of
wish8.5 so that I can compile it as 64bit? I have tried using the
Active 32bit wish executable, but it obviously won't work because of
the 64bit libraries.
Thanks in advance for your help!

MTA,
You will also need to build Tk in 64bit in order to get the wish
program.
hammerora uses a GUI (Tk) to help you through creation of the test
data and to display graphically the results.
There is a chapter in "Pro Oracle Database 10g RAC on Linux:
Installation, Administration, and Performance" book on
the use of Hammerora.
I'm told that you could also use ActiveTcl for solaris and use the
teacup repository to grab Oratcl
