A very simple way would be to add a fixed number of spaces to the left
of the text :^)
Sure, that'd work. In fact, I did just that in a prior application, but
it's just so inelegant and imprecise. I was just hoping for a more
correct way to accomplish the goal.
That kind of fine-tuning is best accomplished with treectrl.
