Hey, I'm just getting into .tcl's and I found a problem. I cannot
find how to open up a .tcl file correctly in Vista. Can someone
please walk me through that correctly?
Right click a .tcl file.
(Properties)
(Change) - Next to "Opens With"
Pick or (Browse) Wish
(OK)
The problem on Windows is tclsh or wish. Whichever you pick it wont
always be right for executing and it will never be right for any file
that isn't a main program so it's not as simple as you might think. As
a developer it's better to associate .tcl with an editor. As a user -
probably with wish.
But that will always bring up the blank ui (I think) and I'm not
working on that right now. I'm wondering how to run it with wish in
basically a dos application, through the dos window.
nvm, this page answered all of it.
