KitCreator ( http://kitcreator.rkeene.org/ ) is meant to be an easy-to-use interface for creating Tclkits. On Mac OS X to create a Tclkit that uses X11 with XFT support it should be as simple as running:
$ ./kitcreator 8.5.10 --with-x --enable-xft
