Tablelist cell colour problem

I have a tablelist with two rows, two title cloumns and N additional
columns. When I update the table I colour code the values in column 1
by setting the -fg option and this initially works fine. However, if I
click in one of the additional columns to start an edit, the -fg
colour of the entire row is immediately reset to the default value;
any subsequent attempts to change the cell (or column) -fg are
ignored.

Has anyone else seen this and have a work around ?

kind regards
Julian
